Wilson’s Weekly:

Here’s What We Are Learning!



Spelling: Over the next two weeks we will be completing units 27 & 28. Test will be on Friday.

Reading: Before we start our next Theme in Reading, we will celebrate Poetry Month (April) with some of Shel Silverstein’s Poems and activities. We will then start Theme 6-Nature.

English: We will continue 6 Trait Writing. Our next unit is Pronouns. We will go to the Library on April 18th.

Religion: The next chapter focuses on the 6th Commandment. Our test is on Monday April, 16th.

Math: We will start Chapter 14-More Long Division. We will continue our timed test. Chapter 14 Test is on April 23rd. Soon we will celebrate with our party!

Science: After break we will start learning about plants!! During this unit we will also get a chance to grow plants and fix up the butterfly garden we have at school!

Social Studies: We are continuing to learn our states and capitals song! During computer class, the students will be working on their state project. We will focus on the Midwest next. We will talk about the Lokata and complete an assembly line activity.

April 18th: Library...Please bring your books!/Mrs. Juracek sub-I have my History Grant Class.
April 19th: Spirit Day!! Jagwear and uniform bottoms.
April 24th: Field Trip won by a biodiversity grant I entered won!!! More info will come later for this!

We are reading the novel How To Eat Fried Worms in class.  Today we measured items around the room with gummy worms!!
